Anand Saha is a Partner with over 25 years of experience advising underwriters and issuers on global capital markets transactions. He has advised on billions of dollars of capital raises in both the equity and debt markets. Formerly a Partner at Clifford Chance in New York and São Paulo, and at McDermott Will & Emery in New York, Anand's experience covers a vast array of capital markets products.
Anand has particular experience advising on cross-border transactions, and has served as a trusted advisor to both the world's leading investment banks and many non-U.S. companies accessing the U.S. capital markets. While working at the São Paulo office of Clifford Chance, Anand was ranked by Chambers & Partners as one of the leading lawyers working in that market. He led the legal structuring of many first-to-market products, including the first ever New York law governed high yield secured bond by a Brazilian issuer and the first issuances of hybrid and subordinated capital products into the U.S. markets under local Central Bank regulations.
Anand's experience includes:
--- IPOs and follow-on equity offerings, including with NYSE or Nasdaq listings,
--- a full range of debt capital markets products, including high yield and ESG bonds,
--- cross-border M&A and equity investments in private companies, particularly in the Tech space,
--- bank regulatory capital offerings (Tier I, Tier II and hybrid capital),
--- short-term and medium-term note (MTN) debt offering programs, and
--- liability management structures, including tender and exchange offers.
